Sambalpuri handloom the name comes from a small town called Sambalpur situated in the western part of the state Odisha. Sambalpuri handloom follows a unique traditional technique of tie-dye before weaving called bandhakala. This traditional bandhakala is also called Sambalpuri Ikkat. These coaster are made from sambalpuri ikkat fabric which are a reflection traditional bandhakala. These coaster are designed and stitched by the team of Graminvastu.
