Sambalpuri Handloom the name comes from a small town called Sambalpur situated in the western part of the satate Odisha. Sambalpuri handloom follows a unique traditional technique of tie-dye before weaving called Bandhakala. This traditional Bandhakala is also called Sambalpuri Ikkat.
