This is one of the type of Stone Pottery popularly known as Black/Stone Pottery. This product is made from a mixture of black Serpentinite stone and weathered rock. The product is Handcrafted with natural ingredients and each piece has its own unique texture. Legend claims that tea tastes better when prepared in these potteries. Locally in Manipur and Karnataka, they are revered for medicinal values.The material used in Longpi is made from a mixture of Black Serpentinite stone and weathered rock.
