Our traditional Pure Silk Ilkal Sarees Come with Pure Silk mark. llkal/Irkal sarees are traditional mainly known for their traditional borders and pallu. The saree comes from early centuries and is one of the oldest weave of India. The pallu threads and body threads of this fabric are joined in loop technique, a unique method locally called as Tope Teni. The Contrast pallu of this saree is made of silk with patterns carrying designs of temple towers woven with Zari. The broad border in contrast colors is woven in different traditional types such as Gomi, Paraspet, Gaadi, Jari, and modern Gayathri. *The traditional Ilkal sarees sourced directly from the experienced weavers.*
