The saree comes from early centuries and is one of the oldest weave of India. The pallu threads and body threads of this fabric are joined in loop technique, a unique method locally called as Tope Teni. The Contrast pallu of this saree is made of silk with patterns carrying designs of temple towers woven with Zari.
