Folk tales are the medium of common expression of humanlife. The stories heard in childhood from grandmother andgrandmother were not only entertainment but used to becomeideal for children for life. Elders used to share their experiencesthrough stories, it used to be inspirational and ethical forthem. Realizing its relevance in today's environment, an attempthas been made to publish some folk tales. It is hoped that thesefolk tales from different countries of the world will entertainas well as inspire child readers.
