Dermatitis is a general term used to describe skin irritation with redness and inflammation. It can involve itching, dry skin and rashes or can cause blisters, oozing, crusting and flaking off. Common triggers for flares include stress, hormonal changes, environment and allergies. Psoriasis is a skin condition characterized by dryness, itching scaly patches. It can also cause pain and sleeplessness. It is thought to be an immune system trouble. Eczema is also known as Atopic Dermatitis and its symptoms include dry, itchy and inflamed skin. Patches of skin can become cracked and rough in this condition. Weeping Eczema occurs when the skin becomes infected and causes fluid filled blisters on the skin. Skin allergies are rashes caused by allergens on exposure to the skin. It can be in the form of urticarial rash or hives. It is also known as Contact Dermatitis.
