Apply a small amount of the supplied lubricating oil to the blades. Select the required blade setting or attach the appropriate guide comb. Start with a longer setting and gradually reduce the length as required. Switch on the trimmer and guide it against the direction of hair growth. Use controlled strokes without forcing the trimmer through the hair. Switch off the trimmer before removing the guide comb or cleaning.
